I notice that some people pictures by their names instead of the celtic symbols that the rest of us have. I've tried to work out how to do this using the edit button on my profile and I've searched in the FAQ section using the word "gravatar". Do you have to have a certain number of karma points to do it? If not, could you point me in the right direction please.

Gravatar is a free internet service that provides avatar images to numerous websites.

If you have not already got a Gravatar acount then:

  • Go to http://en.gravatar.com
  • Create an account using the same email address you are using in your IQ profile
  • Upload an image you want to use to that Gravatar account and link it to your email address. (Gravatar provides instructions on how to do this)

Your Gravatar image will now automatically show up on Inward Quest.

Hi Simon - forgot to thank you for this. Unfortunately my user name has already gone so if I used a gravatar then I would have to change my user name again so celtic symbol it is but thanks so much for getting back to me.

@Kate : Your username can be whatever you like. It's only your email address within the gravatar account that matters
