According to the badges you can earn - you should be able to delete A's or Q's. IQ rules state you may delete a Q or A if NO comments or answers are attached if you do so within an hour. Do the same rules apply here?
I would love to delete the last question I asked; but don't see an option to do so. There are quite a few duplicate questions posted by members on Meta. It would be nice if they were all deleted. Correction -- Wade was able to delete his -- only duplicates are by @ursixx & me.
I know I had this problem last week on Meta & the staff deleted the question when I asked. I've experienced the same prob on IQ & clicked the delete button to no avail. When I used the contact button at the bottom of the page & reported the issue, one of the mods was kind enough to delete it.
Are we allowed to delete a question or ONLY comments & answers if done within the hour? I was finally able to delete an answer after trying at least 5 times and refreshing the screen 3 times. Deleting comments doesn't seem to be an issue.
Maybe I'm the only one who is experiencing this problem.. Perhaps @ursixx was just lazy & could have deleted his duplicate questions had he chose to..
Until relatively recently, the Meta site has barely been used for discussions but has been extensively used for testing new features before a decision is made about whether to put them live onto the main Inward Quest site. It is quite possible that there are features of Meta that don't work correctly or don't work as they do on Inward Quest. The delete may be something that has broken.
Features that are broken on Meta, unless they prevent posting questions, answers & comments, are going to be a low priority to fix. Just close the questions for now.
