Blubird's question inspired this question.

If I place a bounty on a question and no-one seems to answer it in a satisfactory way, is there a way to just remove the bounty from the question? A no fuss no-one upset solution that just makes everything like there never was a bounty on the question.

The question has been closed for the following reason "Only applies to old Inward Quest software. No longer relevant." by Simon Templeton Dec 31 '11 at 12:37

There is no way that I know of. In any case, the new IQ software (the one that runs this IQ Meta site) doesn't have bounties so it won't be a "problem" for too much longer.
